We are proud to say that our Kangaroo products are being tanned and processed in our own factory, by our dedicated team based in the Western parts of Melbourne. Our team have been in the business for over 30 years!

Our Kangaroo skins and other leather products are ethically sourced from reputable suppliers around Australia and are always a by-product of the meat industry.

The raw skins we receive are all individually tagged with an ID number that can be traced. There is a set quota of Kangaroo species that can be harvested each year to manage the population of Kangaroos, to ensure they do not exceed the carrying capacity of the land which helps to ensure the survival of all Kangaroo species and preserve the biodiversity of the land. The Kangaroo Industry Association of Australia (KIAA) is the peak representative body for the commercial kangaroo industry. It represents 90% of kangaroo meat and skin processors across the country. Members sell high-quality and traceable meat and leather products, responsibly sourced from an open range environment where Kangaroos graze on the natural pastures and foliage of the Australian bush.

We are fortunate as a tannery in Melbourne to be able to utilise the by-product of skins and scrotums which would otherwise go to waste, and tan these into premium quality Australian made products.
